School Improvement Priorites
Our priorities during 2018-19 are :-
To firmly embed the recent focus on improving the outcomes for disadvantaged pupils so that differences between the achievement of these pupils and their peers are diminished further, particularly in reading, writing and mathematics.
To further develop and clarify the role of the Executive Headteacher along with middle leaders extending their practice and further developing their leadership skills by having greater opportunities to monitor the teaching and learning of the subjects they lead.
• Further developing the role of the subject leader
• Further developing governors understanding of data and its underlying messages
• Achieving the aims of the collaboration
Collaboration with Trent Vale Infant and Nursery School
As part of our collaboration with Trent Vale Infant and Nursery School I will be working very closely with children, staff and governors to develop a continuum of education from 3-11 years; an education that encourages every child to reach their potential both academically and socially while at the same time enjoying their learning. Additionally we have also joined the George Spencer Teaching School Alliance to enhance our professional development we offer to staff and extend the number of schools we are working with.
